Local Adelaide hero’s Town have just released their latest track ‘Boring’ into the world. ‘Boring’ arrives following the May release of ‘Stardust’ – a triumphant and welcomed return for the duo, who have had an incredibly fruitful run since the release of their breakout single ‘Safe To Stay’ last year. The single catapulted the band from their humble beginnings in the incredible and evolving Adelaide scene into hearts across the nation, landing rotation on triple j and clocking up almost 400,000 streams on Spotify since release.

On the live side, 2019 saw the band perform a record-breaking nine showcases at BIGSOUND, step out on two national tours in support of Sydney rockers Dear Seattle and beloved Brissy trio Bugs, take out the Unearthed competition for Spin Off Festival (Childish Gambino / Catfish & the Bottlemen / Mallrat), curate and sell out an all-ages Christmas charity gig at the 550 cap Lion Arts Factory, and join the bill for Falls Festival in Lorne. TOWNS also took out the coveted People’s Choice Award at the 2019 South Australia Music Awards, echoing the love of their ever-growing online army of over 1000 active members, “TOWNS Scooterposting”.

The self-professed “two-piece puzzle” are slated to perform at Yours & Owls Festival in 2021, with whispers of TOWNS once again teaming up with Santa Claus for a show later this year. Stay tuned for plenty more surprises from this dynamic duo!
